Early Bird registration is now open. We have a two-part process for registration. All conference participants must complete both steps to fully register for this event. Lodging must be booked separately. Visit the Venue & Lodging page for more information.
Step 1: Complete the online registration form (link below), which asks you to select your method of payment.
Step 2: Complete your payment method by sending a check or paying by credit card. The details of both are included at the end of the online registration form.
Registration includes all programming on Thursday and Friday; breakfast on Friday, lunch on Thursday and Friday, a reception with heavy hor d’oeuvres on Thursday, and refreshment breaks.

Thanks to our funders and sponsors, we are able to offer scholarships for up to two members from each food council in the North Carolina network of food councils that register during the Early Bird registration period. Each individual food council will decide on which food council members will attend on scholarship. We encourage food councils to elect members that have limited resources, are farmers, or who are taking on existing or new leadership roles within the council.
If your food council, does not need scholarships for one or either of the two scholarships available, we will use those funds for other individuals. If you have questions or your food council needs scholarships for additional participants, please contact us.
Food council member scholarship includes:
- Waiver for the cost of two registrations
- Reimbursement for round trip mileage for one vehicle
- Reimbursement for one hotel room
If you are interested in this scholarship award, please contact your food council. Each food council should send the names of their elected members to attend via scholarship to their Community Food Strategies team contact by October 13th.
Scholarship recipients must complete required forms by Tuesday, December 12th for reimbursement. Requests made after this date will not be accepted.
If plans change and you are unable to attend the conference after you have registered, we can transfer your registration to another participant. Unfortunately, we are not able to offer refunds for registration costs. Please email your transfer request to Lisa Forehand at email@example.com.
